Terms of Service

Welcome to Crypcons. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Crypcons website and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Crypcons is

Crypcons is an online marketplace that helps clients and independent freelancers find each other. Posting a job and applying to a job are free — there are no commissions, service fees, or paid credits. Crypcons is a venue only: any agreement, deliverable, or payment for work is arranged and settled directly between the client and the freelancer. Crypcons is not a party to those agreements, does not process payments, and does not provide escrow.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. Authentication is handled by our identity provider; you are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for all activity under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Freelancer verification (KYC)

Before a freelancer can be assigned to a job, we require identity verification (KYC), which may include a short recorded video and automated checks. Completing verification does not guarantee work and is not an endorsement by Crypcons of any user.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• post unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, infringing, or harmful content;
• harass, abuse, or harm other users;
• circumvent verification, moderation, or security measures;
• scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service; or
• solicit payments through deceptive means.

5. Content and moderation

You retain ownership of the content you submit, and you grant Crypcons a limited licence to host and display it to operate the Service. Job posts and other content may be reviewed by automated moderation and can be held, rejected, or removed if they appear to violate these Terms. You are solely responsible for your content and communications.

6. Payments between users

Crypcons does not handle, hold, or guarantee payments. Clients and freelancers agree on price and payment method directly and are responsible for their own taxes, invoices, and compliance. Any dispute over work or payment is between the client and the freelancer.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any user, job, or outcome will meet your expectations. We do not verify the accuracy of user content beyond the checks described above.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crypcons will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from dealings between users, from user content, or from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
